The holidays, the move and a new year.

In November we took a trip to my parents house for a week of holiday celebration and too look at apartments in Nampa. Eli took up stair climbing as a sport he mastered going up the three small steps in my parents living room and then decided to go up the stairs to the second floor it was very exciting. Like any mother I am convinced that he is a genius. He found the legos at their house and loved them so much that grandma bought him so for Christmas! we keep them in a box buy the chair in the living room and he dumps them out several times a day, its so fun to watch him play.Mitchell had his comencemnet at BYUI before we moved most of his family was able to be there which was a great blessing.
we moved in December before Christmas and it has been so fun to watch Eli explore a new place and for me to reorganize the cupboards. Mitchell is student teaching at Skyview High School and so far he seems to really enjoy it he teaches math.
We were opening gifts on Christmas and looked over to see Eli finishing off Santas Christmas cookies! He got a wonderful toy from his cousin Conner! We spent a few days at Pinetop with the West family it was a blast! Grandpa West brought his projector and we watched movies played games and went on long wet hikes.
the other day Eli was in the living room playing like a good little boy so i didn't worry enough to leave the bathroom door open when i went to the bathroom, but after a while i heard him crying so i hurry out as soon as i can and he is not anywhere i can see so i run upstairs and he had climbed up the stairs crying and looking for me the poor little boy had figured how to open the cabinet doors and had tried to eat a dishwasher packet, i was so scared and freaked out i rushed to wash his face and moth with cool water and then i gave him a bottle while i called poison control. I was so freaked out! But fortunately was totally fine and the kind of detergent we had was not too harmful, they told me to do everything i had already done, thank goodness I took a first aid course and knew what to do in advance because i am definitely not good at thinking under stress!
We all made goals for the new year, and one of my goals is to read some new books, of "literary merit" of course, jessica and i have been exchanging some adn its been so fun.
We think of all of our family thats far away and hope that we can see everyone soon.
