First Food!

Tonight was the night that we fed Lawrence his first solid food! He loved it :)

Shopping lawrence

Weird tittle? The picture explains.

And we are one payment away from paying off Lawrence.

Mommy & Kayden time

On days Kadyen has no preschool while Eli is At school and Lawrence is sleeping,we have  "mommy & Kayden time.  I'll ask him on the way back from dropping Eli off at school what he wants to do. Its so fun. we mostly play Legos and paint or color (painting is his favorite). He also requests shopping (meaning play shopping at home, but a lot of times that lasts all day.

monkey bars

Apparently it happened at school. he learned how to do the monkey bars without help. I found out when he did them at the park. When I got all excited about it, he said something about the school playground, and falling, and now he can go all the way across....
I didn't hear many details after "falling" but I guess he is alright, obviously.
Way to go Eli boy!
(how/when did he get so big?)

Woman's Confrence

The General Woman's conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, happens each September. It is awesome. It is uplifting. This year I was so touched by the talks and spirit that was there. I came home and wrote in my journal and talked to Mitch about it for a good while.
Each year since we've been in the area I get to attend with my mom.
This year they had a dinner before the broadcast; so the food was like a bonus, because I was there to be feed spiritually.
Good pun right, I'm really hilarious sometimes (even if people only laugh at my jokes on the inside). ;)

My knight in the Kitchen

We are making a more concrete chore system over here and one thing we are doing is having each boy once a week prepare (with help) and clean up after dinner. When I told my mom each boy was going to have a night to cook she immediately thought of "Knights" the boys like that. haha
Tonight Was Eli's first night. He did an awesome job. He picked mac and cheese (and the other day he make muddy buddies). Since mac &cheese from the box is kinda...you know, we made it with good stuff like bacon and ham and real cheese. It was good. Truly.
Thank you Eli!
Next up, Monday Kayden's night, he's thinking quesadillas.... shocker (it's only his favorite food ever). ;)

Spirit Week

It was Spirit week at Eli's school, the only pictures I snapped were on my phone (sorry for the bad quality) I am just so proud to be this boy's momma.

PS he is adorable

Soccer-Fall 2016

They did soccer in the spring
and summer
and now in the fall
I think  can totally rock the soccer mom thing (the cute fun kind).
These pictures are from the first day of this season, I take about a billion videos each time haha. #somehashtagthatdiscribesthis

PS I have to drive to meridian (again) because I forgot to sign them up early enough (again). *sigh* I'll get it next spring ;)

Legos

My kids love Legos
They live on my bookcase mostly.
Someday I will build a house with a room just for Legos (oh and other toys..).

28

I had a birthday! I feel a song coming on...
It was Eli's first day of kindergarten so that was really may main focus for the day.
I did wear a cute new dress (I won it from a cute boutique off one of those Instagram giveaways no one ever wins! WHAT?!?!). Mitchell got me tons of really sweet gifts that we left in the closet and got out after the kids went to bed, (I forgot wrapping paper.).
I other fun thing was that I did a photo shoot that day- I think it went really well.
Michael spent the afternoon with us- I asked him too, he is a nice brother.
The cake I made was delish! Not to brag (cough cough) but I make really good cake. Its just not good for you sooo... yeah.  I still eat it though, in large quantities (that's the best way to eat cake).
the day was busy , Mitch had to work late but it was awesome and I am SO grateful for my many many blessings;
 especially these peoples.

This was the best picture of the bunch... for real. Bawhahah!!

Lawrence -4 months

Lawrence, you grew again buddy!
We took him in for a concern I had about him but then went in 2 weeks later for his 4 month appointment.
Updates- development seems to be going wonderfully. He is VERY social and can roll over hold his head and grab things.
Concerns: Eczema on the back of his things (not so great in one so little), and possible concern over constipation-but to be honest the doctor doesn't seem very worried about it, it's just a mom worry I guess. ha ha. Spitting up more then my kids usually do.
I am trying to cut out dairy as much as possible to see if that helps with his gas and eczema
Okay the fun Stuff.
Weight: 16.3 (65%)
Height:26.75 in (97%)
Head circ: 16.625 (67%)

Just for fun- I will compare the boys at the 4 month appointments
(and yes, I have saved every well visit summary for each child)

Eli- Weight: 15.877 (72%)  Height:27.4 (99%)
K-Weight: 14.69 (31.4%) Height: 24.5 (19%)
Ren- Weight:16.3 (65%)   Height: 26.75 (97%)

To Kayden

To my K baby,
Mommy loves you so much! I cannot believe that you are four. A four year old sounds so big, and to me you are still such a little guy. I feel a little sad sometimes, like I missed out on your 3rd year (because I was so sick) but I can look back and see the good times we had when you were 3 too. I want you to know how much I love you. What a sweet boy you are. Did you know that you were my tiniest baby? I snuggled you all the time. Things were really busy for our family after you were born but I was so glad we had you! You are such a cheerful little boy we wouldn't be complete as a family without you! You are like sunshine. Sometimes you feel sad too though, and that's okay. Just come talk to us (mommy and daddy) and we can help you. Never be scared to talk to us about anything because a big part of being your parents is helping you!We will ALWAYS love you no matter what!

Stay my happy angel baby. I am always here if you need me, just ask.
- mommy

PS. I am excited to spend lots of mommy & Kayden time together while Eli is at school and Lawrence is sleeping! We will do lots of fun things!

Kayden's Birthday

Kayden turned 4.
He is still our happy, fun loving boy. He walks around on his toes, he jumps and dances frequently. He loves to celebrate everything. His favorite food is still quesadilla.
His party was on saterday, we just had family over, the Woodruff kids and Blake Tanner along with Greg and Anna Trent and their boys.
We played outside and ate cake and ice cream.
He had SO much fun. It made my heart happy.
That night we went to a ward party.
He got to play with lots of friends there too.
A few days later while Eli was at school Kayden and I went out to Cracker barrel (his request).
I love him!
*Other pictures where taken by great grandpa but I don't have them yet.

A special birthday treat from daddy, A watermelon as big as Kayden

First day of Preschool

Kayden's first day. He was excited. I think a bit nervous, but he never lets on.
I walked him in early in case he was a bit shy but he was just fine. His teacher is fimiliar. I just hope he is making friends, and not disturbing class time. wink wink

First Day of Kindergarten

Eli had his first day. Honestly at the time of me writing this his first day was almost 3 weeks ago (but the pictures are from his actual first day).
He seemed totally confident, we had a "meet the teacher night' the day before. I forgot his backpack -so not ideal.
He is in class with his friend Tyce, so that helped him not be so scared "cause I already know him".
Almost 3 weeks later and he seems totally fine at school. I worry, because I am mom. I just really want a clearer picture of what his day looks like, how his interactions with other kids go, does he smile a lot...
They don't let kindergarten parents come in to volunteer until October, just to make sure there is a separation for those kids who cling to mommy (not mine), I can not wait to go in and help!

This picture is from a different day, he was very proud of finding what could be the last raspberry of summer.
I took other pictures on my phone.

Paddle boarding

I have wanted to paddle board ever since it became a "thing" so ... a few years?
This summer Eagle Island State Park had them available for rent.
It was easier and harder then I thought it would be mostly is took more forceful paddling then I thought it would. Totally easy to stand on though. Overall I am glad we tried it.
The other BIG thing that day was Eli going down the waterside-twice.
We had a great day.
