Sometimes just coloring with my kids can be the most special
moment, yesterday was like that. Between my homework and my busy Wednesday errands
I colored with my kiddos. Wednesday I drop Mitch off at work since we share a
car that way I can go shopping and to the library and appointments, and then we
pick him up and head home to make a usually late or easy dinner. So yesterday
knowing how busy it would be I spent some special time to ask Eli what he
wanted to do with mom and he wanted to color.
They got so excited when I drew stick figures of all the
members of our family on the chalk board. It is truly remarkable how much
little ones understand the importance of families.
