Kaydens Party

On Saturday we had a busy  day. in the afternoon we had a little party for Kayden! I like having little party's for the kids, just a chance to let the kids have a bunch of friends over. We don't sing or make a fuss and we don't expect gifts. Although we are very grateful to anyone who brings them anyways.
We had a few fun friends from the ward over and the boys best friends my aunt Daylene's kids. It was so fun to see all the kids playing together!
We had Fun Kayden had picked out his own balloons and napkins and such.
Mitchell had class so he was not there as I got everything ready, my dad was very nice- when I called to ask to borrow a rope for the pinata he just came over and  strung it up and took care of it! So nice!
some of my favorite parts of the party was watching all the kids take a swing at the pinata- seriously I don't know if there is much fun(ner) thing to watch then these little kids swing at the moving target.
It was fun for the kids just the have friends over. We don't really do play dates as often as we should so it is my big 'have friends over to play' day for the kids.
After the party Great grandma and grandpa came over with cousin Axle- that was fun too! Kayden went crazy because part of the gift was a BIG kids sized candy bar from great grandpa. It is so sweet how much kids get excited and grateful over little things that as adults we take for granted.
As a side note- I just love my relatives! I mean I have extended family that will drive all the way into town to my house to give my kids a hug and celebrate a bit with them. Blessed.
