two weekends ago, before the fire in the foothills, we went on another awesome hike.
During the hike it got steep and poor Eli got scared. after a pep talk and right before we finished the hike Eli said "mom, don't listen to your fears; listen to your braveness, like me. Okay?"
Later that night we went to a Quinceañera and a wedding reception.that morning and the night before I had attended baby showers (obviously for different people). Sunday we went to a family party for my grandma's birthday. overall it was quite the weekend.
And just so you know all of those party's had chocolate cake. What are the odds!?
