My boys

We had a nice weekend! On Friday my AMAZING aunt Amy, came to help me paint our living room! The yellow and very yellow paint is gone forever!!! Happy day. It was so great to get the painting done but it was even better to spend a whole afternoon visiting with my wonderful aunt (I am part hers you know). When I was a baby my mom worked full time so until I was about three ish I spent every day at Aunt Amy house being her baby! When my sister Becky was several months old I think like between 6-9 months then my mom was able to stay home with us full time! That meant I didn’t go to Aunt Amy’s house anymore, but I still saw them a lot because when my parents bought a house it was a few blocks away from them. We moved to Nampa when I was almost 12 so now they live about 20 min away. Aunt Amy's daughter, my cousin Melanie, who has all brothers was my "big sister" and always took my under her wing when I was a teenager.  I LOVE their family and its always extra special for me to spend time with any of them!

My aunt shared a story with me while we were painting, about how she once taught the sunbeams, brace yourselves, there where 25 of them! Wow. She said she learned a great lesson from them, she said that it was obviously hard to keep their attention for almost any activity, but, when she told story’s from he scriptures, they had big listening eyes and no problem sitting still and focusing. Little children are sensitive to the spirit they are not fooled or interested in silly things but they respect and recognize truth! I see the same thing with my boys when we tell Eli about Alma or Noah or about Jesus healing the blind man, he listens.  He knows it is truth.

Children are so precious, my boys teach me so much everyday about faithfulness and humility I love them and hope that I can follow their examples and learn in meekness.

Eli had a lot of fun the other day playing on that office chair. We used to use it for the computer, of course, but we didn’t want to hurt the hardwood floors when we moved, so we just have it in the garage. He thought it was so fun to sit on it and wheel down the driveway! (our drive way is a slope) it was fun until he would try doing it when my back was turned then it was scary because it gets going fast and I was worried!
I got the kids dressed and felt they sorta “matched”
Eli loves letters and calls them all A. J He got into my scrapbooking stuff and found my stickers so I decided to just let him play with them. It was my fault he found them because I had been scapbooking and I did not put my stuff away we had fun playing and. we identified the letters correctly.
