Jumping off Sand Dunes the last day of our Family vacation.

This post is LONG overdue. On the last day of our Family Vacation to East idaho and Yellowstone we went to the sand dunes with Mitchel's mom and sister (and two of her kids). 

Unfortunately it was really windy so the big bon fire we had planned on doing was cancelled , but i taught Cam and Kimmi (Mitchel's niece and nephew) about how cool sand dunes are.

Why they are cool :

1. You can slide down them

2. you can run and jump off the edge of them and not get hurt.

3. They are sand, meaning fun in general.

So after watching me a few times the kids tried running and jumping off the edge too and they had so much fun!!!! (I was SO glad)

When the grown up saw how much fun we where having they came over to try for themselves.

I think Dianne had the most fun with it out of the two of them she jumped three times and laughed the whole time! (what a cool grandma right?!)

Nichole was nervous and a bit scared but she tried it and i was so excited for her, sometimes doign little things like that are liberating.

I of course jumped as much as i could and far and fast as i could. 

Cameron slid all the way down on his tummy like a seal.

Kimmi jumped almost as many times as me.

She is such a sweetie.

PS Mitch was not in any pics because the kids where so scared of the strong wind and blowing sand that they needed to go back to the car. Mitch Knows how much i like running around like a child jumping off sand dunes so he gave me the go ahead to play while they watched from the car. He is such a heroic man. I don't know anyone else who would be that patient.
