I am pretty sure its croup, again.
They have the tell tell cough and high fevers that came on all of a sudden. Viruses are mean monsters. I had great plans today to be really productive and organize my files (really I did). Since they just want me to sit and cuddle with them while they nap on and off and watch way to many hours of TV i decided organizing can wait.
Last night we all painted the side walk with water and shared a small blue raspberry snow cone. I closed my eyes and said a prayer hoping I can remember all these special days when they are little. Today I have two little boys who want nothing more then to be held by their mama. Its strange to think that someday they will be bigger and they wont want to play outside with me or have me read them 10 stories in a row or snuggle while we watch movies. I better just enjoy today and give my little ones all the love I can.
Maybe I will be productive and organize my home tomorrow or the next day....
But that's a big Maybe.
I hope everyone's Wednesday is healthier then ours seems to be and that you all give your little ones (or not so little ones) a big hug!

I'll try not to spoil it by looking ahead to when we both just have a bunch of stinky teenage boys in our homes, but seriously... let's savor the here and now (and start on that whole hygiene thing early). Honestly, I think teenagers could be fun as long as I don't mess up now and ruin them forever. I just try and remember that I'm not just taking care of my kids, but I'm trying to raise future grown-ups that I will want to spend time with.
