Somewhere around 2:40 AM , I heard some noise in the bathroom and rolled over, as it turns out there was quite a lot going on in the bathroom. I call him Mr. Hill, was working hard.
Eli (now 3 1/2) had turned on the water in the sink and could not turn it off. No problem right? The drain was clogged.
Yup
Around 3 inches of water was pooling in places and at least an inch of water was all over the bathroom floor.
Needless to say we were up quite a while getting everything dried out, then we went downstairs to dry out and take care of the light fixtures in the kitchen that were now dripping water.
We got it all taken care of. But I admit to ignoring my 5:30 alarm telling me to go running.
It is a good thing we had lots of fans on hand.

PS- Mitchell man, is awesome, he very firmly talked to Eli but he did not yell and shout and "freak out". He just talked to him as he cleaned up the mess encouraging Eli to help fix it, then he went to bed and woke up early to head to work.
I am SO happy he is MY man! I love you Mitchell we will really miss you this weekend , be safe!
