Today you turn 2 years old.
I can hardly believe it.
I still call you my Kayden Baby. You are getting so grown up now. You sit in a car seat facing forward (well you have only done that a few times but now it will be the norm) you can do all sorts of things like open doors and climb to the top shelf of the pantry (mom gets scared when you do that by the way). I am so proud of you for so many of the things you are learning; you know colors and shapes, you are trying to learn letters and numbers like your big brother Eli, but it is hard to get them in order and it will take a few months more of practice.You love you run and dance and play all kinds of sports, You are friendly to everyone and very good at brushing you teeth.
I am proud of you for being kind to others, I am proud that you keep trying to learn new things even when it is hard, because guess what? You can do hard things! I get so excited when you sing primary songs, but I think I am most happy and proud of you when you pray. Prayer is SO important; it is the way we talk to our Heavenly Father. You are a Child of God and He loves YOU! Mommy and Daddy and Eli love you too!
I love you son and I am so glad I get to be your mother. Happy 2nd Birthday!
So my sweet sister Jessica West (to go to her photo blog click here) who took Kaydens newborn pictures (for that post click here) took some more pictures today in honor of K's second birthday. Only a few of them are photo shopped she is leaving Friday morning early, so she did a few (you will be able to tell which ones) but I loved too many of them so I am posting many of them that have not been edited so please excuse the flaws and enjoy the sweet face expressions of this little boy of mine!
