We did our own small thing for his birthday including a special dinner and then tonight we had grandma and aunt Jessica and Uncle Joseph over and had brownies and floated some of those awesome hot air lanterns.!

(tied ours to yarn so it cloud not fly completely away and potentially start some grain field on fire, this was just a safety precaution)
Last night we celebrated Kaydens birthday with jessica and it was a special send off becasue jessica left this morning so it was also a nice last night sendoff for her! The lanterns worked really well we all think they would be fun to do over a lake at night so the water could reflect the glow of the lantern (like in tangled).
