This last week seemed like a long one, but it was a
wonderful one. Eli and I spent a lot of
time playing with friends. We played at the park with James and his mom, always
fun. For two days we babysat Macy, who is cousin Conner’s 9 year old aunt.
WE definitely played hard. Eli loved to have her over all day and cried when
she went home. He is one social kid!
On Thursday Eli and I drew
a picture and took it to our friend who had to have surgery. I had not pulled
out the crayons in a while but wow Eli loves them. So many colors to play with
and things to draw on.
Mitchell and I were able to go on a date mini golfing which
was a blast, it was so nice to go out and do something like that together, we
also went to the cheap theater and ice cream (that was a different day though)
which was fun. We had gone to the movies pretty recently because Mitchell
had gotten free tickets from his work but the last movies we saw where both guy
movies so I dragged him to a chick flick. He sat through it like a champ, he is so good at putting up with my girl things!
On saturday we went to the famers market and had a lttle BBQ and
water games afternoon at my parents house with my brothers. The afternoon was
cut short because poor Eli did not feel well. He was fine the next day, but the
last few nights the poor boy has been up with a stuffy nose. Last night he slept through
most of the night which was a great blessing, but today he has a yucky sounding
cough, so in to the doctors we will go.
I also have a doc appointment today. The nasty blood glucose
tests where they make you drink that disgusting syrup and sit around for an
hour. Wish me luck, I will certainly be
working hard to think positively. I am one of those strange people who loves the dentist but hates going to the doctors. Not sure why, i think its because after a dentist apointment you feel good your mouth is clean and there is a plan to fix any problems. But its not that way with the doctor, you go in there to feel awkward and hopefully you can leave with out haveing to come back for "tests". I had gestational diabities with my first pregnancy so hopefully this time I won’t have a problem!
Here are some cute pictures of my brothers in Eli’s Kidde
pool and a few fun pictures of Eli being adorable! Note: I had to beg to have
my brothers let me take a picture of them in the pool. They are troopers!

haha awwww i love my brothers! can't believe how grown up Eli is looking! i know i say that every time, but wow, he really looks big and so smart! i hope all doctor appts go well! we love you guys!
