So here are some fun , and easy crafts I have been doing!
I took the kids to the park last week they were so cute
playing!
Mitchell and the boys made cookies a while ago all by
themselves it was so nice!
Kayden got a late gift from nana hill and he loves it!
I finished the kitchen table and chairs (mostly) and I made
a quick pleated slip cover for the office chair too.
I made some lavender satchels and will monogram them from
the lavender in this picture. And a lavender wreath.
Eli learnt how to blow milk bubbles. New favorite activity.
Here are Eli and kayden making drums out of old ice cream
tubs. We have also made some jingle bell wand things, and we moved the keyboard
downstairs so it gets used more. It’s like music month here.
I painted some cheap terra cota pots black with chalkboard
paint and use them for storage.
This is the 2 dollar garage sale office e chair I got this
summer I reupholstered it in drop cloth but my mom gave me this wonderful
velvet-like fabric and so I slipcovered it.
The little antique chair I redid this spring that used to be
here is now in our bathroom, it really works well in there but the pictures don’t
show it. (its late and I have bad lighting but really I won’t re-do this
tomorrow anyways) The picture of that is at the end.
I moved the temple picture to on top of the TV cabinet.
I made the giant chalk board for the kids but I moved the painting that was above the fireplace and so I put the chalkboard up there for now.
This is an old music wreath I made, miss mustard seed style.
On the shelf are some cloth pumpkins I made and a glass
pumpkin dish that I redid with spray pain to look like a mercury one,.
I took the painting from the living room and have
temporarily hung it in our room and the mirror in our room I want to try above
the fireplace. I love it, Mitchell’s mom gave it to us when we got married, and
want it to be more showcased. The problem is that it is old, old, old and
weighs like 200 pounds, seriously its is very heavy so I can’t move it and Mitchell
is hesitant to put it somewhere outside the safety of our room.
