Just getting a few more “Catch up” posts in before school
really starts. I am going to put up pictures and then just explain what or
where so that its recorded. I feel like I make so many precious memories with
my little ones right now that I don’t ever want to forget but I am sure someday
I might.
We went to meridian to lunch and to the park. The kids love
the splash park I just got a few pictures of the kids playing before we went to
the splash park area. We also walked around the whole park which was fun Eli
and I rolled down some hills and raced to the top of the biggest one! It was
the first real time I showed him how to roll down a hill like that and it made
me remember my childhood. My aunts back yard has a hill and we would always
roll down it.
We did some “arts and
crafts” I love finger painting with my kids! Eli got a wooden toy from wal mart and we
painted it we also did some other finger painting projects.
We made a toy air plane out of empty TP rolls and cereal
boxes. It turned out to be so much fun we also made a rocket ship!
We went to my aunts house for a BBQ in honor of my cousin
who was heading back to dental school. I took a few pictures of their beautiful
yard, just for fun!
Eli loved playing on their huge slide and spent most of the
evening on it.
Mitchells brothers came through to visit and we all enjoyed seeing
them.
We had lots of fun evening and afternoons playing in the
yard! We played Frisbee, soccer, and “car race” with Eli and kayden. The boys also played in there pool. We found
some moss one day which was very exciting.
Its been more rainy (much like everywhere) and we got some
pictures of our hail storm. The kids
thought the storm was crazy I think they take after their mom a bit because instead
of being scared or just wanting to watch from the window they were hyper and
wanted to run outside in the rain. I LOVE storms, not sure why I just get very
energized by them! So we took lots of pictures the week it was rainy!
We took out more rose bushes from our yard.
We bought a new houseplant which Eli is very excited about.
I have been spending more time “out” of the house having
occasional craft nights with some new friends in the ward. I have also been running
nearly every day in preparation for the
fitone 9k race this next week.
We got some veggies and did some freezer corn, soon we will
do more canning.
We refinished the dinning room table and chairs and are almost
done with the upholstery for them.
I start classes and Mitchell will soon start doing his
different after school programs.
Eli has been potty training! We are so proud of him!
Kayden is definitely starting to talk more now. It is
amazing how fast her is growing. Eli is just soaking up everything he learns.
The kids got a hula hoop, which was really fun for a short period
of time until it was broken but kayden really took off with it, thought it was
the coolest thing!
Kayden has started to point to pictures of Christ and say “Jesus”
which is SO precious! Both the boys till want me to read with them and night
before I put them down to bed , Eli recently has not been as into the singing
part of the routine (I have been sing to them from day one) but the other night
I sang one song and he said “stay with me. Keep sing” it just made me tear up.
I love those times with my boys!
I know there are a lot of other things I wanted
to record but right now I just can remember!
