Mothers Day 2015

I don’t know if you can tell but the I love my mom because section says “I give her kisses”
Mother’s day
Many things happened that are not pictured. Of course.
Yesterday the boys took me shopping and I got some pants socks and new sunglasses. I also got a yummy tinted lip balm from Sephora. Thank you to Mitchell also for making me a delicious ham and potatoes dinner with extra gravy.
I took a bath with some bath salts I made a jar for my mom and myself for mother’s day I also watched a documentary on the Alps…
Mother’s day the boys made me breakfast and let me sleep in, -thank you my Mr.! – Also they helped me have a wonderful morning complete with handmade cards pretty jewelry and flowers.
Church was just wonderful. Eli sang in sacrament meeting along with the other little children and I was so overwhelmed- he is growing so fast-. This quote was given in a talk AND was on the ward bulletin "This ability and willingness properly to rear children, the gift to love, and eagerness, yes, longing to express it in soul development, make motherhood the noblest office or calling in the world. She who can paint a masterpiece or write a book that will influence millions deserves the admiration and the plaudits of mankind; but she who rears successfully a family of healthy, beautiful sons and daughters, whose influence will be felt through generations to come, . . . deserves the highest honor that man can give, and the choicest blessings of God." -David O. McKay
also later in the day my sister gave a wonderful lesson about the book of Mormon, this quote stood out to me "“I feel certain that if, in our homes, parents will read from the Book of Mormon prayerfully and regularly, both by themselves and with their children, the spirit of that great book will come to permeate our homes and all who dwell therein. The spirit of reverence will increase; mutual respect and consideration for each other will grow. The spirit of contention will depart. Parents will counsel their children in greater love and wisdom. Children will be more responsive and submissive to the counsel of their parents. Righteousness will increase. Faith, hope, and charity—the pure love of Christ—will abound in our homes and lives, bringing in their wake peace, joy, and happiness” (Ensign, May 1980, p. 67).
Wonderful quotes for me to reflection on today, Mothers day.
After church we enjoyed a delicious dinner at my parents- ham and potatoes (no really) before getting to talk to Michael on his mission!
We had a great day!
