Veterans night, we were invited to go with my dad. We had so much fun. I feel like they do not do a ton of big things but they went all out and did a great job it was so amazingly fun. We had never gone before. All of the attractions including the specials were free and it was right in the evening all of the animals were getting fed and so we saw a lot of animals we usually don't see, or don't see moving, they also had snacks and food and goodies and all sorts of fun extras. We had so much fun. I felt like my dad saw someone he knew around every corner, which was really cool too! We all got American flag stickers and tons of the kids had flags everything was so nice.
We dressed our kids in patriotic outfits on purpose. I should have gotten a better picture of the kids with my dad but it was a zoo- literally!
Thank you dad! Thank you for bringing us to the vet's night and the zoo and for serving our country. You are a wonderful man and I am so glad my kids have you as a grandfather. You are definitely someone they can look up to and respect!
