Because He Lives

For my Children and posterity,

This is a short letter, a brief testimony. Easter Sunday was yesterday, I could not let that sacred day pass without recording my faith and gratitude for my Savior, Jesus Christ.

I watched this short video with my family, and we talked about Jesus Christ, what He did for all of us, why we love Him and how to serve Him. 

We bore testimony to our little Children that Christ loves them and each of us.

I know He Lived, died and lived again. He lives now and always. And He loves us now and always. He is perfect; He is the Author and finisher of our Salvation, The creator and our Savior. He is the Master and I will follow Him always. He says to me and each of us "Come follow me". Let us follow Him. "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. " John 15:13. Jesus Christ did lay down his life, for all of us. He atoned for our sins and it behooves me. His Atonement is real,, He loves us that much. 

 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me”
(Philippians 4:13).

I pray that all my Children and someday grandchildren,, will know these things for themselves. Come unto Christ and know Him. He has said "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you" John 14:18. Or gratitude for the Savior should inspire obedience to all His Laws and Commandments. We are not perfect, we will not be perfect in this life, our Heavenly Father knew that, that is why he provided a Savior for us. Have faith and be firm in truth and righteousness. Follow the Saviors teachings,, apply the Atonement in our lives, make and keep covenants, and we can all return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven again after this life.
