Thursday:
The Mr. and I woke up early this morning and spent some sweetheart time together-the kids where in a bed in the other room- it was perfect.
We went on a beautiful walk/hike. One of the fun things about expensive (snobby) places like this is that the sidewalks are all cobble stoned and pretty and the trails are kept up really nicely so I can take the stroller pretty much everywhere!
Also is snowed today… several times. Idaho weather is so weird; if I wasn’t from Idaho I would probably be more… surprised or annoyed. Either way. It is sunny and nice in between snow storms.
Around Lunch we swung by this sweet bakery for treats. They had the prettiest swan cream puffs- one came home with me. Also they gave the kids and me a cookies decorating kit for free! They said they decided we were the lucky winners- SO NICE! The kids loved it. We went back the apartment and decorated our cookie hearts out during the next little snowstorm. It really was perfect! Thank you to them!
And last but certainly not least, the Toy Store, first of all the lady who owns it is really sweet and second of all it is adorable –like all the shops- but most importantly it has the coolest toys! Oh if I had all the money in the world I would probably by up the whole store- my kids played there 2 times Thursday alone.
I spent $40 of my $60 play money in that toy store. I got the kids a Green Toy tug boat- They have an airplane by that brand and it has really held up- also it is green and all that good stuff. I also got them one of those cool wooden push toys by Hape. *I did not pick out the toys- I let the kids-because I am a great mom that way.
So Thursday night we went ahead and hang out at the apartment while the Mr. went to an evening work dinner- apparently it was at a very high class restaurant- I made him tell me all about it. The kids and I just made use of the Kitchen and watched TV- it was actually kind of fun. After the Mr. got back we all went swimming again! Then we stayed up watching Big Hero 6- Mr. bought the movie for the trip.
